In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, as society transitions into the "new normal," churches have been granted permission to resume holding masses with certain restrictions in place.

The Event Registration System (ERS) serves as a comprehensive platform for registering church masses and activities during this new normal period. Church members who are registered within the system can sign up for events based on age restrictions, area criteria, and COVID-19 vaccination status.

Upon registration, users input their personal code and select their desired event or mass based on availability. They also have the option to choose their preferred seat. Subsequently, users receive a unique ticket in the form of a QR code, which is used for check-in purposes.

During the check-in process, church clerks scan the QR code, allowing the system to generate and print the designated seat number for each attendee.

The implementation of this system empowers church officials to effectively monitor attendance, keeping track of the number and identities of individuals present. This capability proves invaluable for contact tracing efforts should a COVID-19 case arise. Additionally, the system enables authorities to enforce necessary restrictions, such as setting quotas, adhering to age requirements, and considering area and vaccination status in compliance with relevant regulations.
